Our facilitation and
support work falls into four main areas
Management Partners consultants have extensive experience of
facilitating boardroom discussion both on strategy/mission and on
specific challenges facing organisations. Clients have ranged from
government departments to major international ICT companies.
R&D
CONSORTIA AND MULTI-VENDOR BIDS
In long-term
associations – particularly internationally or between larger
organisations - it is easy for strains to emerge and
misunderstandings to undermine the initial agreement and goodwill.
The role of Management Partners facilitators is to serve as
trusted third parties who can address unease at an early stage
before it leads to friction. Being independent of project or bid
managers they can freely discuss strategies, internal problems and
options with key players, and using knowledge of
objectives/strategy, can propose approaches to avoid disputes and
can dispel suspicion by reassuring participants about each others’ intentions.
ALLIANCES, JOINT VENTURES AND COMPACTS
As in
the case of consortia and multi-vendor bids, there is a role for
Management Partners consultants acting as independent but
knowledgeable facilitators. In this role they focus on the need to
maintain all parties’ strategic commitment to the cooperation.
Management of relations with stakeholders has many
of the aspects of marketing and of relationship facilitation. With
appropriate skills, understanding of governance issues, and mature
business sense, Management Partners consultants have developed
valuable experience of advising on strategy for shareholder and stakeholder
relations.
